Thankfulness

Count your blessings instead of your crosses;

Count your gains instead of your losses.

Count your joys instead of your woes;

Count your friends instead of your foes.

Count your smiles instead of your tears;

Count your courage instead of your fears.

Count your full years instead of your lean;

Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.

Count your health instead of your wealth;

Serve Him through the storm

When all is well, when things are good
It's easy to praise Him like we should
But if you can praise Him through the bad,
It says a lot of where you're at.

Because you see, when times are dark,
So many stop pressing towards the mark.
They compromise when times are hard,
They lose the faith and don't go on ward.

But if you're really in love with God,
You'll hold on when the going gets tough.
Because He's worthy no matter what,
You won't let go, you won't give up.

Are you in love with God, or just His church?
Do you love His Word, or just the fellowship?
It's in trials, when who you are is revealed,
If you want to stand, you'll have to kneel.

If you really love Him and trust Him,
He will see you through the storm
Under the shadow of His wings
You will be safe from harm.

Keep your eyes on Him,
and you will walk on water.
But if you focus on the waves,
you'll begin to falter.

So keep your eyes on Jesus our God,
He'll lead and guide you with His rod
In His time He'll see you through,
For His promise stands: He'll never leave you.

Happy Birthday Mom!!

Happy Birthday, Mom! I won't say how old you are, don't worry. =) I'll just say that I was born on your 29th birthday and today I'm 18. =) lol Love you Mom, you're the best!!

God answers prayer!!! Again! =)

Well, they were gonna sell our house on us tomorrow. And God came through again, it's postponed for 30 days so they can review our application. This is the second time they allowed it to be postponed. Next time I want to be able to report that we get to keep it and that they aren't selling it! My dad's business is picking up and my mom and I are working so please pray that we get to keep the house.

I do know that everything works for the good for those that love God and are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) The Bible is not just a book, it WORKS. It's TRUE. It's ALIVE. I'm realizing that more and more everyday. So we aren't worried, because God has everything under control.
