“He knoweth the way that I take!”

Do not pray for an easy time.
Ask God instead to be stronger,
And He will teach you to climb.
Yes, there are lessons to learn in the shadow,

When the valley’s dark clouds overtake you,
We walk by faith, not by sight.
So study and learn through the dark times.
When you pass the final test,
The lessons you learned in the shadow,
Will gain you a city of rest

I went to church with your aunt way back when I was a young girl,in the fairfield church. I have this poem of hers,and carried it in my bible for years. Your aunt is a very beautiful lady,and was always so sweet to my twin sis,and me. Thanks for sharing this poem. Sis, Heather Kendrick.
This is a great poem and so true. Though those "dark times" are not pleasant to go through, it's in those seasons that we really grow, and somewhere down the line, God will be able to use us to help someone else when they're in their valley. Thanks for sharing, Jen. :-)
