One moment of sin can kill a life time. One moment of sin can destroy relationships, families, marriages, reputations, and even a life. One moment of sinful pleasure can effect not just yourself, but your friends and your family. One sip or ejection can get you addicted. One look at something you shouldn't look at can lead you down a road of destruction. Temptation is real, sin is real, the devil is real, your flesh is real. Temptation comes to all of us at one time or another. What will you do when it comes to you?
Next time you're tempted to do something you shouldn't, think of your soul. Ponder the path of your feet. Which direction are you headed? The wages of sin is death. If you're headed down that road, turn back before it's too late. Sin is real, and if you're not careful, if you don't keep your heart and life like you should, you can fall prey to it.
Remember that just one moment of sin can destroy. God help us live the way we should.
