Victory Report!

This Sunday we had great church! Elder Kelly Nix and his wife were with us from San Antonio, Texas. Bro. Nix preached 2 awesome messages that were both very anointed and very needed! We had a brand new visitor come yesterday, an elderly woman, and she was crying in the altar. Afterwards she said she felt good! :) God will do that to you!

I used to work with two sisters who were twins, and they have come to church a few times. I've been trying to get their mom to come, and she finally came last night with the twins, and their younger sister who is 12. The mom has really been through so much and as we were singing, she began to cry. She was raised Catholic and has not been to a Pentecostal church before, and she has been quite nervous about coming. If you keep being kind to people and get down on their level, eventually they will probably come. It's been over a year! My mom prayed with her during altar call and she began to cry again. She was really listening during the service. This is an answer to prayer and I want to praise God for it!

Then, during altar call, God really moved, and a young girl who has been coming received the Holy Ghost! When later asked if she said words she didn't understand, she said yes! The Spirit of God was all over her, and her daddy and brother who do not have the Holy Ghost yet got to watch it happen. Praise God!

Another amazing thing that happened was that a Sister in our church has a mom who she has been praying for for many years! Her mom lives in San Antonio, where Bro. Nix pastors. They have tried to meet up with her but it has never worked about. Turns out the same week the Nix's were coming here, she was coming too! So they met last night at church! And even before they met, they saw each other at the airport and didn't know until they saw each other again at church. It was definitely a God thing! I'm excited about what God is doing! This sister from our church always stands up and testifies about how God gave her a promise that one day He would save her mom, and I can just see it unfolding! I admire her faith in God! Faith takes patience!

God is working and I'm excited. There's nothing more exciting that seeing people come to God. If you need joy, go witness to somebody or help somebody out! :) It works!
