Today I was thinking about how very faithful the Lord is to us, even when we have failed Him. Think about it: there have been days gone by where we haven't prayed, haven't spent time with Him. We've all let Him down! All have sinned and come short of the glory if God. But God is faithful to be there for us whenever we turn to Him. It's so amazing to me that even after I have let Him down, if I begin to pray He will meet me wherever I am. Such faithfulness I do not deserve!
Thinking about this, it makes me want to do more for Jesus! He died for my sins, He paid the price. He gives us life and He can take it away. Why then should I be selfish and do my own will? I am not my own, and neither are you. I am bought with a price, and so are you. What more could we give Him than our own lives? After all, He's the one who gave us life. Why then should we pave our own road? He's already chosen a way for each of us! A specific plan and purpose. God creates a life for a reason: to save it, and to use it to bring glory to His name. He is faithful to forgive, faithful to show mercy. He is faithful to bless and faithful to save. He keeps His Word. He never fails. We know that He said wherever two or three are gathered together in His name, there He will be in the midst of them. But, I have found that even if just one comes, He meets with them. There have been times I felt so low, and I went to the church to pray. And guess what? God met me there with His sweet presence and helped me in my need. What did I do to deserve such kindness? Nothing. I just turned to Him. He is so good. Faithful to me - it is undeserved.

Hilarious birthday message from the California gang for UB. We giggled & giggle some more. Thinking about Tom today. He was missed yesterday during the Easter festivities with the Milwaukee Contino clan. Thought more about him today given his birthday tomorrow. Then again when I found his birthday card to me just one month before he died. I guess I'll stop thinking about him & pray for others who are missing him as well. Hug your grandma for me, K?
LOL! Oh my, you heard that?! Well we definitely had fun making the message for his birthday. We all miss Tommy, but are thankful to know where he is. :) With Jesus, and he's celebrating! I'm sure he'd want us to EAT for him! lol "It's all about the meal."
