Do you value your soul?

Over the years I have observed many peers that have gone the way of the world, placing little or no value on the most important thing a person could ever value -- their own salvation. I know people whose souls I value more than they do themselves. What a tragic thing for anyone to sell their soul for the shallow things of the world, only to have to give up those things in eternity anyhow.

Many have fallen into the ways of the enemy and have sold their souls for things so cheap.

Jesus asked, "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
In another verse it says, "For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?"

Do you value your own soul? Do you ever pause and think of where you will spend eternity? This is the most important desicion we could ever make, and it lies within our hands. What will you do with your life? Where will you send your soul? It's your choice. We must obey the Gospel (see Acts 2:38) and live a holy life, pleasing to God!

The devil will do
whatever he can
to get you to sell
your own soul

He tempts and entices
with his evil devices
your soul to destroy
is his goal

But you have the power
to make the right choice
Eternity asks,
where will you go?

Choose you this day
whom you will serve
and remember to
value your soul

May we always choose Him! He is coming soon, and we must be ready.
