What has also impacted me is the steadfastness of Bro. and Sis. Hood through their time of great trial these past 5 years or so.
We rejoice to know that Bro. Hood is now with Jesus; He made it! He has achieved our ultimate goal. We all want to make it there, too. Let us all pray for the Jason Hood family (wife, daughter, parents siblings,etc.) and close friends as they grieve their loss.
This is earth's loss, but it is heaven's gain.
1Th_4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
We do sorrow, but not as others who have no hope. We have hope!

Beautiful post...yes we do have hope! Br. Jason Hood's life was an inspiration to me and I know to so many others.
I do rejoice in knowing that he fought a good fight, he kept the faith!

I don't know you, but I attend Bro. White's church in Burbank, CA. We were privileged to hear Bro. Hood's last message on Sunday night. He and Sis. Hood have blessed our church many, many times. We are lifting you all up in prayer.
