JOY

J is for Jesus
O is for Others
Y is for You.

In that order. Put God first, then others, then yourself. It brings JOY! It really does make you feel so good to know you're right with God, and to be serving other people. That is one of my goals, to become a better server.

"These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full."

This Sunday night I went to church in Fremont. I was feeling kind of down and discouraged and I really wanted to be in church. (Church is the best place to go when you're feeling that way.) Bro. Wright preached about having joy. He brought out a connection between joy and faith that I had never noticed before. When you have a full cup of joy, you have no room for anything else. No room for doubt, discouragement, or depression. Jesus wants us to have joy. He knows that when we are full of His joy that we will have faith to believe Him. He wants us to believe Him for miracles. He wants us to trust Him! When you have the Holy Ghost, you get joy unspeakable. It is up to you to keep it! If you can have rejoice in the hard times over the good things that are to come, people will notice something different about you! Your happiness can effect people in a great way. Nobody wants to be around people who are constantly feeling sorry for themselves. I know, life deals some tough things, but you have to make up your mind to have joy. Things aren't just going to miraculously happen for you if you sit around feeling sorry for yourself. If you get up and believe God, and rejoice at what He is going to do, you can just watch the good things that will happen! Spread the JOY!
