Think on these things

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:8

This is a great verse! My husband often turns things around when he's teaching or preaching. This verse could also say:

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are a lie, whatsoever things are dishonest, whatsoever things are unjust, whatsoever things are impure, whatsoever things are ugly, whatsoever things are of bad report; if there is no virtue, and if there is no praise, DON'T think on these things.

Sis. McElhaney,

I never thought about that verse that way before! It's a good way to look at it. Thank you for sharing!
