Revival!

I am happy (but not surprised) to report that God is moving here at Cornerstone Pentecostal Church! There is nothing more exciting than seeing people come to God! On Sunday mornings after church I have been teaching Bible studies to a 15 year old girl. She has been coming to church for over a month now, and her hunger for God has been very evident. The power of God has been all over her during our services. This past Sunday after church we were about to start our third lesson of the Bible study series we're doing, when she began asking me about the Holy Ghost. Long story short, we did a Bible study on the book of Acts instead, and she clearly saw her need to be baptized in Jesus Name. "Do we have time for me to get baptized right now?" she asked. I told her we have to fill up the baptistery first and that I would call my dad. Her mom was fine with her getting baptized and my dad filled up the baptistery between services. God moved on her again during the evening service. After church she got baptized, and because she obeyed God's Word in faith, she came up out of that water speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gave the utterance! God is so good! There is nothing like seeing revival in a small church! Thank you to all those who have been praying for our church! God is answering prayers and working in our young people. To God be the glory for the things that He has done!

UnicycleRose,
Thank you for your comment. Not only is it a welcome, but it must start with repentance! Then comes baptism in JESUS Name!! (Acts 2:38, Acts 4:12) We receive the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives us the utterance! All these are essential to our salvation, and yes, it is very exciting! We find this in the only book of the history of the church, the Book of Acts. Jesus's apostles ALWAYS baptized in Jesus Name and not in titles. There is such a difference! :) It is the only way! Thank you again for your comment!
