Of Late and Pranks

I have had some ideas for some good posts in mind, and have not gotten around to them. We are still in revival and good things have been happening. Amazing things! I can see that God is truly answering prayer, and that even when things seem dry and nothing appears to be happening, God is working behind the scenes. I am thankful.

Okay, so lately my dad, brother, and I have been playing silly pranks on each other. My last prank was sticking a foam board under my dad's sheets and also paper in his pillow case. (Hehe)
So, yesterday, here I am getting for ready to work, so I walk in to the bathroom to do my hair and when I turned on the light, I saw this on my sink:

If you know me well at all, you know that I am terrified of spiders. If a spider gets near me or on me, I definitely lose all pride and dignity.
I stood there frozen with fright, not wanting to move one step closer. I had never seen a spider like this in our house before, ever! Outside, yes, but not inside.
Then, I remembered the prank game. "Paul, did you put something on my sink?!" He didn't even seem to know what I was talking about. "Dad, did you put something in my bathroom?!"
Dad: "Huh?"
Me: "Did you put something on my sink?"
*A look of guilty pleasure comes over dad's face as he confesses to the crime*
"Yes."
Me: "Okay, you got me!"
I was cracking up because he totally scared me, and it was only a piece of paper. My loving father printed out a picture of a spider and took the time and care to cut around the legs, bend them into position, and tape the paper spider to my sink.
Okay, good one dad, you got me. So I leave for work and go on with my dad, then come home to get ready for church. I go into the bathroom to do my hair (again) and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Until I looked in the mirror and let out a yelp! At first glance, this next sight terrified me:
Yeah, same paper spider, but much bigger. It was hiding behind the door in the corner.

Doesn't it look gross? These fellows that I live with, I tell ya. I'm gonna have to think up something slick to get dad back.

Yup, regular printer paper! lol

The point of this post is, you have to have fun in life! Know how to dish it out and take it, the Christian way. We shouldn't do anything that could hurt or offend someone, but it's okay to laugh and have some fun.
Any ideas of what I should do to get him back? It's okay to leave a comment because dad has been forgetful so he probably won't remember what he saw anyways. (Hehe, jk dad!! Love you!)

********

After church back at home:

I'm sitting on my bed and I reached to my night stand to grab my hand lotion, then immediately threw the bottle of lotion on the floor. Why would I do such a thing? Because my loving brother taped the first spider to my bottle of lotion. Scared me half to death! Sigh...

If you all have a spicket next to your sink (you know the kind that comes up and moves around so you can spray around your sink?) Take a clear rubber band and tie it around the handle you push to let the water come out... then when he turns on the sink, he'll get a little surprise spray in the face...????.... or you can put a little food coloring on his toothbrush(the same color as the middle section.)??

AHAHAHAHA!!!!! I'm laughing, but if I were in your shoes I would have been flying out the house, screaming in terror before anyone could confess to the prank!

HM, I shall think and come up with a prank ;)

Years ago, Abel and I decided to put a -real- spider on Hanna's shoulder just to see her reaction........she cried while we laughed to death. we never tried it again, but we did get a kick out throwing small pieces of lint on her shoulder and hearing her shriek. Good ol' days.

Be sure, that I will come up with a GREAT prank to do; and as soon as I do, you'll be the first to know!

By the way, the "Anonymous" person who said that they would come up with a GREAT prank - and that YOU would be the FIRST to know - was ME! :-)
