If You're in "The Middle."

We all have those low spots in life -- those places where we can't seem to see the end of the tunnel and begin to doubt if we will ever get to the place we are striving to go. Times of heartbreak and pain. Then we have those times in life when doors open, God speaks and gives direction, and it feels like the windows of heaven have truly opened upon us!

But.... most of the time life is simply somewhere in the middle! I heard a preacher recently who accurately stated that we will have many "boring" days in life. Most of our days are routine and full of work, school, errands, responsibilities, etc. If we aren't careful, it can be in these times of normal, busy routine that we get our focus off of heavenly things because of the cares of this life.

Sometimes it seems like God isn't moving. (But He is always moving, whether we see/feel it or not)
There will be dry spells in your life! Expect it!

It takes faith to get through a dry spell in your walk with God. If you're in a dry place and can't seem to feel God, I want to encourage you. Never. Give. Up.

I personally have had to push through some of these times where it seems like I just couldn't feel God. But let me tell you, friend! Hold on, make sure you're right with God, and times of refreshing will come. (Acts 3:19)

Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Lord, teach us to be faithful. Teach us to wait on You.

God always comes through!
